For our comeback edition, some of Belgium’s greatest artists will perform with our MarktrockTribute Band, led by Jeroen Swinnen. Each of them will pay tribute in their own way to their connection with Marktrock and Jokke Kerkhofs.

For Selah Sue, it’s a return to the place where her musical journey truly began. In 2008, she opened Marktrock on Leuven’s Vismarkt as a young emerging artist. With her distinctive blend of soul, reggae, and acoustic vibes, she moved the audience — even as the rain began to fall during her final song. The performance became a milestone in her career, paving the way for her to become one of Belgium’s most authentic and compelling voices.

Now, years later, Selah Sue returns to Marktrock to honour her roots and once again share her musical magic with the crowd.
